Fans of The Dandelion Dynasty might be getting the next installment of the series sooner than they think.
Nebula and Hugo award-winning author Ken Liu recently tweeted out a hint that he’s finished with the third book in The Dandelion Dynasty. The tweet shows text stating “End of Book” and “End of Dandelion Dynasty.”
Ohohoho, what is this? Dandelion Dynasty fans, I think we have … a draft!
The question now is, whether I should load the manuscript into a truck (yup, it’s that big) and drive it up to NYC to dump on the desk of @joemts … pic.twitter.com/qnwBwPLN47

Liu’s epic fantasy follows Kuni Garu, a bandit, and Mata Zyndu, the son of a deposed duke, as they fight against their tyrannical government. The first book in the series, The Grace of Kings, has been optioned for TV rights. As Liu mentioned in an interview with BN.com, this final book in The Dandelion Dynasty “continues the arc of revolution set out in the first two books, and engages with ideas of historiography and how maturation (for cultures and individuals) is a process of re-reading/re-writing (personal and political) history.”
